I wanted to create my own website since I was ten. Learned HTML and CSS. Wanted to learn PHP and JS as well, but then school started and I had better things to do. Not to mention that a fourth-grader doesn't really have the means to pay for hosting anyway.
And here I am now. Probably it would go nowhere. I just wanted to try nonetheless.
Most importantly - I wanted to make another step towards going away from social media and closer to autonomy, like many people in my IRC servers did. Sure, I am still renting this server and not using a Raspberry Pi in my own closet, but this is still progress. Not to mention that I need this VPS anyway to access blocked websites.
